Remea Ecosystem Badge Program – Terms & Conditions

Participation in the Remea Badge Program ("The Program") is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By using the Remea Ecosystem and earning badges, you agree to these rules.

1. Nature of Digital Assets

Badges, achievements, and status indicators ("Badges") awarded within the Remea Ecosystem are purely virtual items designed to acknowledge user engagement and tenure.

  • No Monetary Value: Badges have no cash value, are not convertible to real currency, and cannot be redeemed for cash, goods, or services from Remea, LLC or its affiliates.
  • Not a Cryptocurrency: Badges are not non-fungible tokens (NFTs) or cryptocurrency assets. They reside solely within the Remea database.
  • Non-Transferable: Badges are tied strictly to the User Account that earned them. They cannot be sold, traded, gifted, or transferred to another user or account.

2. Founding Member & Adoption Tiers

"Adoption Tiers" (including The Vanguard, The Trailblazers, The Architects, and The 500k Club) are limited-edition status symbols based on the chronological order of account creation.

  • The Vanguard (Pilot Cohort): Strictly limited to the first 150 verified user accounts. Eligibility is determined by the system timestamp of account creation.
  • Verification: Remea, LLC reserves the right to audit "Founding" accounts. If an account is found to be a bot, duplicate, or fraudulent, the status will be revoked, and the badge will be offered to the next eligible user in the queue.
  • Permanence: Once awarded, Founding Badges are permanent fixtures of the profile, provided the account remains in good standing.

3. Fair Play & Anti-Gaming

The integrity of the Program relies on genuine human interaction. We monitor for "gaming" or "farming" behaviors.

  • Spamming: Users found uploading dummy files, blank documents, or nonsense audio solely to inflate counts for badges (e.g., The Archivist or The Orator) will have those specific badges revoked.
  • Fake Referrals: Creating multiple fake accounts to earn "Connector" or "Reunion Host" badges is a violation of the Remea Terms of Service and may result in account suspension.
  • Automated Scripts: The use of scripts, bots, or third-party software to automate logins or interactions to maintain streaks (e.g., for The Guardian badges) is prohibited.

4. Modification & Revocation

Remea, LLC reserves the right to modify the Program at any time without prior notice.

  • Design Changes: Badge visual designs, names, and descriptions may be updated or refreshed.
  • Criteria Adjustment: We may adjust the thresholds required to earn future badges. Users who have already earned the badge under previous criteria will generally retain it, subject to our discretion.
  • Revocation: We reserve the right to revoke any badge if it was earned through software error, glitch, exploit, or violation of these Terms.

5. Termination of Service

If a user deletes their Remea account, all associated Badges are permanently destroyed. If the user creates a new account later, they start with zero badges; previously earned status (including Founding Tier status) cannot be reinstated.
